Bliss is a local skateboard shop in Windsor, Ontario. They opened at the beginning of Covid 19 and have done very well within the skateboard community.

I was asked to design a skateboard deck for Bliss Skateboard Shop. Bliss Skateboard Shop gave me free rein of design. I grew up skateboarding and a lot of my illustration style comes from skateboard culture so I thought this would be a fun project.

After coming up with a few thumbnail ideas, one deck design stood out from the rest that Bliss Skateboard Shop liked. I started sketching a tight drawing for the skateboard.

Overall, the design for Bliss Skateboard Shop was a lot of fun. I was able to learn new techniques in illustrator and learn a new style as well.
